Bazel is a build tool that replaces Makefiles or other tools. Under the hood, it uses go build; but Bazel will build and test Java, C++, Android, iOS, Go, and a wide variety of other language platforms. And, Bazel runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It provides many exciting features including dependency management, and templating with external tools, and the capability to build containers without docker.
