If you have earned a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, JD, DDS, PharmD, EdD, PsyD, etc.) and enjoy intellectual conversations and building community with other similarly educated queer / lesbian womxn, this meetup is for you.
If you’re trans or non-binary and wondering if you’re welcome, the answer is yes. If your doctoral degree is something other than the examples listed above and wondering if you're welcome, the answer is also yes.
The purpose of the group is to meet similarly educated and intellectually interesting individuals for discussions, sharing perspectives on life, dating, relationships, books, art, forming friendships, etc.
Bonnie and Elle, two friends and PhDs respectively in anthropology and psychology, originally started a group to dish on dating but we have found it to evolve more broadly to all sorts of interesting topics. Hence, in this new iteration, the group is open to all Denver queer / lesbian women with a doctoral degree, single or partnered, and it will a have a broader focus, as noted above.
