Denver Live Music Meetup welcomes you! We are run by local musicians and live music lovers, so join us if you are interested in checking out the live music scene in the Denver area! Check out some of the many talented musicians or national acts playing around town and meet other live music lovers ... all in one place!
We post info about all genres of music, and we host live music events at venues of all sizes around town. Have you been to great venues like Swallow Hill, Botanical Gardens, Hudson Gardens, Violet's Venue, Grizzly Rose, Hi-Dive, Paramount, Bluebird, Gothic, Tennyson's Tap, The Bernard Ballroom, Dazzle, Nocturne, Larimer Lounge, or the Walnut Room? Well, here's a group that tells you about live music at venues where you can actually see the performer! We host lot of affordable or 'no cover' events ... so join us today.

We charge a 'voluntary' membership fee of $2.95 per year to cover costs. We ask everyone to contribute ... but it's not mandatory. Please help out the organizer continue to host this meet up site and bring 'good karma' for live music in Denver!

By day, 'The Met' is a well-known DTC lunch time and happy hour jaunt off of Dry Creek and I25. They are known for a great kitchen and welcoming local bar vibe. On Saturdays, they change it up and become a venue for local bands to share their stuff with friends and fans alike.
On Saturday May 31, FLATOUT Jazz Trio takes the stage and brings our creative, passionate jazz trio style to this family-friendly venue! FLATOUT JAZZ TRIO is upbeat and fun, and our blend of sax, guitar and drums will keep the mood going with a cool modern sound. Our music mix includes fresh arrangements of jazz standards blended with jazz versions of tunes that people know from ‘back in the day’ (think Temptations, Beatles, Stevie Wonder and more)! We're fun and entertaining and we bring our unique energy to every show. We’re an instrumental trio and we’re always volume appropriate at The Met, so people can mingle and chat without being overshadowed by the band. FLATOUT JAZZ TRIO is a favorite among musicians and music lovers around town. The guitar players love watching Lou Gott create a solid back beat and play cool improvisations all at the same time. The horn players love watching me, Casey Barnett as I bring passion and soul to every melody or improvised solo. Everyone else is locked in on drummer Josh Williamson as he lays down the perfect jazz feel for every style*. Each member of this band is a great musician, but the best part is how we blend together, creating a modern original sound that you don’t expect from a trio.*

So, you can come see the show and sit with your crew ... or you can join the Meetup Group and meet some new peeps!
