What we’re about

Ultimately, this is a Mandarin Chinese language practice group! Except one important rule: NO SPOKEN ENGLISH!! 😝
(or any other language other than 中文）

Our goal is to see what we already know how to say in the Chinese language and practice using that base to help us say and /or describe what we desire to say. I have seen this accomplished at even a beginner level, so know it’s possible, though not always the easiest. Trust yourself, take a deep breath, and join the fun! I promise we're all pretty friendly!

So far our language meetups have consisted of visits to the Botanic Gardens, library chats and tea ceremonies, restaurants, cocktail/mocktail & dumplings, and Chinese holiday festivals in the Denver area. We hope to add even more fun activities this year and I hope to start teaching a Beginner's Chinese class soon for those who feel the normal conversation meetups are a bit too intimidating. :)
