What we’re about
What's happening Denver! We are firing up a local MLOps chapter for this amazing city
The MLOps Community fills the need to share real-world Machine Learning Operations best practices from engineers in the field. While MLOps shares a lot of ground with DevOps, the differences are as big as the similarities. We needed a community laser-focused on solving the unique challenges we deal with every day building production ML pipelines.
We’re in this together. Come learn with us in a community open to everyone. Share knowledge. Ask questions. Get answers.
You can check out our Slack or our podcast that’s filled with tips and tricks to overcoming the common obstacles we’ve all hit in the real world. Find the solutions you need. Share, learn, and grow with us, as we work to bring standardization to the chaotic world of MLOps

See all- Pizza, Pints & Expert Speaker | Intro to Machine Learning Toolkits with KubeflowCode Talent, Denver, CO
Please join us for our July speaker event with Amber Graner and Chase Christensen and an exciting introduction to Kubeflow. Get to know Kubeflow's open source and Cloud Native Computing backed machine learning toolkit that helps teams communicate, collaborate, and put more models into production.
Machine learning is here to stay and has generated incredible demand for ML/AI roles. These roles at first were siloed and highly specialized but as more businesses move models into production we realize that one role is simply not enough. To scale you have to specialize and we are now in the era of technical empathy we call MLOps. MLOps come with its own set of challenges as we build teams that consist of data scientists, machine learning engineers, DevOps engineers, business stakeholders, and more. These teams need new ways to communicate and collaborate. Machine Learning Toolkits seek to do exactly that. Kubeflow is the Cloud Native Computing Foundation backed and open source machine learning toolkit. With the recent CNCF whitepaper(https://www.cncf.io/reports/cloud-native-artificial-intelligence-whitepaper/) there is no better time to learn (and contribute to) Kubeflow. Come to this session to learn about MLOPs, Kubeflow, and what's in it for you. Be ready with questions around open source, community, pipeline components, contributing, serving, and anything else that you want to know about the flow.
Amber is the Head of Community at TileDB. She is a seasoned professional with a rich history in open source communities–Ubuntu, Linaro, Open Compute Project Foundation, Zeek, Kubeflow and more. Amber is known for her leadership skills and commitment to inclusivity. Amber served as an all-source intelligence analyst in the US Army and is a decorated combat veteran.. Amber brings a unique blend of skills to ignite communication, collaboration and contribution in, near or around open source and actively seeks opportunities to empower individuals and organizations to use the technologies she is working with.
Chase brands himself as a people-prioritized, open source-harmonized, and impact driven machine learning sales engineer. Realistically, he finds great satisfaction in learning about people, helping them solve problems with technologies he believes in, and appreciating them for trusting him to do so. Chase is the author of the LinuxFoundationX: Introduction to AI/ML Toolkits with Kubeflow course and is currently at TileDB where he is helping teams structure their data and improve their ML outcomes as a staff solutions engineer.
Don’t worry, our Denver/Boulder chapter is not a community of just MLOps practitioners (Machine Learning Operations). We also enjoy other awesome things like Machine Learning Development, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, LLM Operations, and open-source data projects.
Feel free to drop us a message if you have any questions!
