What we’re about
Welcome to the Denver Natural Birth Circle, a supportive space for pregnant people who are curious about or committed to holistic health, natural pregnancy, and traditional birthing practices. Whether you're planning a home birth, working with a midwife instead of an OBGYN, exploring unassisted birth, or simply seeking community outside of conventional prenatal care, this group is for you.
Our mission is to empower pregnant people with knowledge, shared experiences, and radical reassurance that your body was made to do this. We offer a judgment-free space to help you navigate a medical system that can often be racist, homophobic, classist, and dismissive of your intuition. We believe in centering your agency and reminding you that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are deeply individual, sacred experiences.
In our group, we:
🌿 Share pregnancy books and resources rooted in holistic and ancestral wisdom
🌿 Host sober-enthusiastic events that nourish mind and body
🌿 Encourage movement, creativity, and joyful exploration of Denver’s beauty
🌿 Hold space for real, honest conversations around the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of pregnancy and birth
Whether you're early in your pregnancy or planning ahead, this is a community for connection, courage, and clarity.
🌿 Ground Rules:
We are not a medical resource. No one in this group is a medical professional (unless a licensed midwife joins). We do not give medical advice—just lived experiences, supportive conversation, and resource sharing.
We respect differences. Everyone’s pregnancy, parenting style, and birth journey is valid. We celebrate that there’s not “one way.”
We lead with love, not judgment. This group is inclusive, body-positive, queer-affirming, and anti-racist. Come as you are.
This is a safe space. We protect confidentiality, honor vulnerability, and uphold mutual respect in all conversations.
