Sheep Creek/12 mile Loop (Mark's Cabin) - Fairplay, CO

Details

Solid BLUE. This is a very unique ride. It's a fairly remote lightly traveled hiking trail. It's challenging in terms of grade changes, rocky dry river beds, starting at 10k feet altitude, tight primitive single track, fire roads, and water crossings, open meadows. Most of the trail runs along 12-mile Creek and Sheep Creek. We will take it easy so everyone can enjoy themselves. We will meet up at the gate to the property and then drive in as a group to my cabin. We will ride to the trailhead from my cabin. Lunch and Beers afterward. I will supply the beer, but you need to bring your own lunch. Wear a long sleeve shirt since some sections can have branches intruding on the trail. Contact me with any questions. 3036699107

The standard Ride is 10 miles from my cabin with a 1200-foot elevation change. You can add the out and back as described in the MTBPROJECT ride description for an additional 3 miles.

FYI, This event is over my wife's birthday. So you will be required to eat Bday cake. :)
