Sheep Creek Trail, Fairplay (Fall Colors Ride)

This ride will originate from my Cabin outside of Fairplay, Colorado. It's about a 2-hour drive from Denver. The third week in September is usually a great time to see the leaves change, and since our cabin is at 10,000 feet, it's usually a spectacular show. The ride will take 2-3 hours, and then we will have lunch on the deck, weather permitting. Bring your own lunch. Meet at the gate of the property - 12 Mile Ranch.

This ride follows mostly raw singletrack through aspen groves with beautiful meadow crossings. This trail is highly recommended in autumn during the color change.

Feel free to bring a non-riding guest. They can hike nearby or hang out on the deck while we are out on our ride.
