Sheep Creek Trail, Fairplay (Fall Colors Ride)

This ride will originate from my Cabin outside of Fairplay, Colorado. It's about a 2-hour drive from Denver. The third week in September is usually a great time to see the leaves change, and since our cabin is at 10,000 feet, it's usually a spectacular show. The ride will take about 3 hours, and then we will have lunch on the deck, weather permitting. Bring your own lunch. Meet at the gate of the property - 12 Mile Ranch.

The 4x4 road connecting the 12-mile trail to the Sheep Creek trail is temporarily closed so that we will run this as an out-and-back route.

Feel free to bring a non-riding guest. They can hike nearby or hang out on the deck while we are out on our ride.

We will meet at the entrance gate to the ranch - 12 Mile Ranch, 600 County Rd 458, Fairplay, Colorado.
