PILATES POP UP: How to Navigate the Holiday Hustle w/ Grace & Ease.
Expert Pilates Instructor Amy Young launches a free community Pilates series called Pilates Pop Ups!
This ongoing (in-person) educational series will shed light on the various aspects and benefits of the Pilates method as well as a host of other holistic health and fitness modalities that increase vitality and wellness.
This is a FREE community event, however your email RSVP IS REQUIRED, because space is limited!
This special holiday Pilates Pop Up features a sample Pilates class taught by Amy Young that focuses on tension relief, nervous system regulation and breathing exercises.
Amy is pairing with healing arts aficionado Sherri Lee for a 30 minute sound bath journey using crystal singing bowls, a gong, chimes and other sounds to help you bring peace to your central nervous system during such a busy time.
***PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT AND WEAR COMFY CLOTHES!
Amy Bio:
Amy Young began studying the Pilates method in 1999 as rehabilitation (and to avoid surgery, which she has successfully done to this day) for a diagnosed chronic lower back condition; spondylolisthesis. Amy earned her original teaching certificate with Romana Kryznowska, Joseph Pilates’ very own apprentice, in New York City. She has taught hundreds of clients for over 20 years in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Boulder and now based in Denver, CO.
With a blend of skillful cueing, guided imagery and a bit of humor, Amy inspires her clients to their highest potential. Amy’s attention to detail in form and function elicits unparalleled results for her clients and spotlights the joy and effervescence of healthy, balanced movement.
Amy’s roster of clients has ranged from teenagers to professional athletes and everyone in between.
Sherri Bio:
Sherri Lee has been practicing healing modalities since 2007. She started her journey with massage therapy, working in spas and among chiropractors, she found joy in working with her hands to aid people into feeling better in their bodies. Being a massage therapist she was lead to work in many environments and she began to find a variety of modalities to help support her clients find their zen and release tension that builds from life’s hustle. Utilizing breath work, sound healing, cupping, ashiatsu, hot stones and many other techniques, Sherri Lee believes in creating a unique session to fit each clients individual needs. Release the body, the mind will follow.
