PM Networking: Change Fatigue, Leading Through Constant Transformation (DPMC)
Details
Overview
The Denver Project Management Collaborative (DPMC) hosts this weekly, practitioner-led forum for project, program, and change professionals who want real conversations about real work.
Each week we focus on a specific topic shaping the project management profession—combining structured discussion, peer learning, and intentional networking.
This forum is designed for practitioners who value thoughtful participation, respectful dialogue, and practical experience.
March focus: Modern PM Practice
This Week’s Focus: Change Fatigue — Leading Teams Through Constant Transformation
Description
Most organizations are no longer navigating discrete change—they’re operating in a state of continuous transformation. New tools, reorganizations, shifting priorities, and evolving strategies stack on top of one another, often without recovery time.
This session is designed for experienced PMs who are leading work in environments where teams are capable—but exhausted. We’ll explore how change fatigue shows up in delivery, engagement, and decision-making, and what senior PMs can realistically do to reduce friction and preserve momentum.
The focus is on practical leadership choices: when to push, when to pause, how to sequence change, and how to maintain credibility and trust when “just one more change” becomes the norm.
This is not a change management certification session and not a resilience pep talk. It’s a grounded, peer-driven discussion focused on applicability, judgment, and professional growth.
What to Expect
• Structured introductions (no awkward open mingling)
• Small-group discussion with rotating prompts
• A practical takeaway you can use immediately
• A professional, welcoming environment for experienced PMs and leaders
Whether you’re actively job searching, securely employed, or simply staying sharp—this session is designed to be worth your time.
