About us
Spirit of the River is a Denver based ceremonial, medicine community rooted in prayer, reverence, nervous system healing, and intentional relationship with yourself, and the world around you.
This space exists for anyone interested in attending one of our breathwork & sound bath journey's, psychedelic education workshops, integration circles, future medicine ceremonies / retreats, or 1:1 healing sessions. It is also a space for those already walking the psychedelic / plant medicine path and seeking like-minded community, deeper self awareness, and authentic connection.
Walking alongside others through these transformative experiences is a responsibility we do not take lightly, and we hold this work with deep reverence, devotion, passion, integrity, and respect for the profound beauty that can emerge through intentional relationship with the medicine.
Our work is rooted in trauma informed care, somatic healing, Internal Family Systems (IFS) / parts work, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, hypnotherapy, and years of personal study in psychedelic science, ceremonial practice, and indigenous mentorship.
This blended foundation shapes the entire structure of the ceremonial experiences we offer.. from preparation and intention setting, to the medicine journey itself, through the weeks of integration afterward.
Our intention is to bridge a modern understanding of science, psychology, and mind-body healing practices with an ancient and holistic understanding of the human experience. One that honors all aspects of life as deeply interconnected with one another, with nature, and with spirit / the divine / the universe / god consciousness (whatever you may call it).

Through intentional guided ceremony, live music, small group + community connection, and preparation + integration support - participants are invited to step away from the fast pace of everyday life. A moment to soften into yourself, unlock new neural pathways, and move forward with greater trust in your inner healing intelligence and the unfolding of your path.
Our approach bridges modern understandings of trauma-educated nervous system awareness, somatic healing, and parts work based approaches, with years of study in psychedelic science and ceremonial practice, while remaining deeply rooted in indigenous wisdom teachings, mentorship, and reverence for the sacred nature of this work.

This experience is offered on a sliding scale suggested donation basis of $300–$500, depending on your current financial capacity and level of reciprocity available at this time. We believe this type of experiential healing work should remain rooted in integrity, accessibility, reciprocity, and community care.Your contribution helps support the ceremonial space, preparation and integration support calls, facilitators, music, materials, nourishing meals, and the overall care that goes into creating and holding this healing experience.
