About us
Do you appreciate music?
Do you genuinely enjoy listening to it? Thinking about it? Talking about it a little too long? Great. You’re qualified.
This is a small, in-person record club for people who “like a little bit of everything” and mean it. One album per week. Listen ahead. Meet in person. Go song by song. We read lyrics, talk about moments that hit, share favorite tracks, lines, and feelings—it's not about critiquing or trying to sound smart. The goal is to notice what you love and share it.
Come as you are. Bring your favorite tracks, half-formed opinions, and “I don’t know why but I love this part” moments. We’re here to appreciate music, make new friends, and give albums our full attention—together, in person.

Björk - Vespertine (2001) | Denver Record Club
HomeDog, 1710 South Broadway ,, Denver, CO, USJoin us at the Denver Record Club to listen to Björk's 2001 masterpiece, Vespertine!!
Widely considered to be one of the greatest albums of the 21st century, Vespertine is yet another pivot from the grand and bombastic sounds for which Björk was known in the 90s. She looked "inward" into the vast world of micro-beats and minimalist sounds that offer so much texture and depth to the listener. You'd be hard press to not find its DNA all over todays' pop music landscape. If you're coming back to this record, you already know and if this is your first time, you're in for a treat. Let's dive in!

Before you arrive:
Please listen to the album beforehand if you can. We will be listening to the album together, but the more time you spend with it, the more fun the conversation tends to be. The goal, put simply, is just to notice what you love and share it.
Otherwise, we will be gathering at HomeDog! Grab a few drinks, sit back, relax and enjoy the album together.
