Join our in-person record club for a first-of-its-kind. Zach will take us on an expertly curated trip through the rise and deep, never-ending fall of pop icon, Katy Perry.
We’ll have some drinks, listen together, and talk as we go: lyrics, vocal styles, guitar tones, production choices, emotional gut-punches, and the moments that made each era feel distinct.
How the meetup will go:
- We’ll start with some casual conversation as people arrive
- Then we’ll jump into the tour and go song by song
- As we go, we’ll talk about lyrics, moments, instrumentation, production/recording choices, and anything that caught your ear
- After the tour a group of us typically grab a beer at bar nearby
