Road Cycling Ride

Details
Starting Tuesday, 4/22/25 : ) @ 5:45pm - North End of Wash Park (S. Marion St & E Virginia Ave)
Howdy road cyclists, asphalt rippers, and pavement shredders!
Training for a triathlon, road ride, or the Triple Bypass Ride (7/12)? Or just love cycling and want to meet some new biking friends? Let’s get a group peloton going.
Starting Tuesday, 4/22/25, we’ll meet Tuesdays at 5:45pm at the north entrance of Wash Park (S Marion St. & E Virginia Ave) for 1.5-hour rides to start.
The route: We’ll head up the Cherry Creek Parkway to Confluence Park (by REI), then take the South Platte bike path north before looping back (~15 to ~20 miles). As the days get longer, and if people are up for it, we can tack on extra miles west via the Clear Creek path for 2+ hour rides. Or any other rides that members want to do.
We’ll keep it at an easy conversational pace—think steady and social. We can regroup or water break at Confluence Park (or wherever we feel like). No one gets dropped and we can stick together.
If the peloton vibe is strong, we’ll add weekend foothills + coffee rides: Lookout Mountain, Deer Creek Canyon, and Flagstaff Mountain are all on deck (or anyone else's favorite rides).
Bring your road bike, water, and a snack if you like. Helmets required. Good vibes essential.
