What we’re about
Howdy road cyclists, asphalt rippers, and pavement shredders!
Training for a triathlon, road ride, or the Triple Bypass Ride (7/12)? Or just love cycling and want to meet some new bike friends? Let’s get a group peloton going.
Starting Tuesday, 4/22/25, we’ll meet Tuesdays at 5:45pm at the north entrance of Wash Park (S Marion St. & E Virginia Ave) for 1.5-hour rides to start.
The route: We’ll head up the Cherry Creek Parkway to Confluence Park (by REI), then take the South Platte bike path north before looping back (~20+ miles). As the days get longer, we can tack on extra miles west via the Clear Creek path for 2+ hour rides.
We’ll keep it at a conversational Zone 2 pace—think steady and social. Expect a quick regroup or water break at Confluence Park (or wherever we feel like). No one gets dropped.
If the peloton vibe is strong, we’ll add weekend foothills + coffee rides: Lookout Mountain, Deer Creek Canyon, and Flagstaff Mountain are all on deck (or anyone else's favorite rides).
Bring your road bike, water, and a snack if you like. Helmets required. Good vibes essential.
