Denver Road Runners Saturday Dash & Dash

With the holiday weekend, thought it’s time to have a picnic!
Please join us for a run at Bible Park on Saturday. Some options available include loops around the park or you can get on the Highline Canal Trail & run NE along the trail or SW along the trail. Everyone runs at their own pace for an hour & we will meet back at the parking lot at 10am and have our brunch “picnic-style” by going over to SouthmoorPark’s Pavillion (East on Hampden to Poplar St (just past Walgreens) turn right- South go 1 block). Plenty of choices on Hampden for “to go” items: - the Bagel Deli - 6439 E Hampden Ave, Denver80222 - NW corner of Monaco & Hampden. (bageldeli.com) can order ahead & it will be ready for you to pick up or Santiago’s on Hampden by I-25 or Panera Bread (same strip center as Santiago’s) or KingSoopers. Feel free to bring your pups, your kids - blankets to throw down on grass, etc. For those who haven’t been here, it’s a small park but has playground next to pavilion & sidewalks all around park so if kids have bikes, they can get some riding in.
