Denver Road Runners Saturday Dash & Dine

Special One-time meetup location at City Park! For the past several years D & D has run the Runnin’ of the Green 7 K race as a group & it was always held on the Sunday prior to St Patrick’s Day; however this year the ROTG will be held two Sundays before St Patrick’s Day (March 8) & unfortunately I will be out of town. Since this race has always had special meaning for me ( it was the first race I did when I took up running in 2004 ), one of our club members suggested we do our own St Pat’s Day run so we will meet on Saturday at 9am & run in City Park but we will meet at the South East corner of the park at 17th Ave & Colorado Blvd & do our hour run & meet back at 10 am & go to the Abbey Tavern, an Irish pub for brunch. (5151E E Colfax - (nortside of Colfax & Filbert Court) I have already verified they will be opening early at 10am & they do a lot of celebrating the weekend before St Pat’s Day. It should be a grand time & don’t forget to wear your green!
