Applications Simplified With Scala

Some people believe that Scala is hard to learn and a complex language to use. While it is more powerful than much older languages like Java, that power is what gives Scala the advantage in both maintenance and time-to-market.

In this talk we will write a simple database application and go through some use cases of how to make very simple applications using the built-in power of Scala.We will see how to make complex problems easy to code and maintain without the complexity often introduced bringing in 3rd party libraries.
