What we’re about
Denver Single and Social Golfers is the opportunity for adult singles ages 50+ to gather and meet through golf and singles social activities. This is not a serious, competitive golf league. It is for single men and women who have played before, have knowledge of the game and have their own equipment For the most part participants will pay at the course the day we play.
Understanding the time required for traditional 18-hole golf and the financial requirements of golf courses (especially on weekends), we will focus on lessons, 9 holes, par3’s and an occasional 18 holes. If there’s enough interest, we will also explore golf events outside of the Denver area.
Our group is for all levels, beginners, intermediates, and advance golfers.
As a group without a membership fee, we ask that you respect other members, the courses we play, and the game of golf, by doing everything possible to keep up with the group in front of you and by showing up at all events that you RSVP for.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Let's Dance - Phat Daddy is playingSports Lounge Off Broadway, Highlands Ranch, CO
Let's get together for live music and dancing at Sports Lounge Off Broadway.
You can check out the band through this link and see if it is your vibe.
Music starts at 8:00pm - we can't reserve tables, so no guarantee we can all sit together, but we can hang out on the dance floor :-)
I'll plan to get there about 7:00 to hold some seats.
RSVP so I'll know to watch for you.
You will need your ID to get in the door - doesn't matter if you're retired :-)
- Volunteer at the Inspirato Colorado Women's OpenGreen Valley Ranch Golf Club, Denver, CO
Signing up in Meetup does NOT mean you will be registered to volunteer.
Are you interested in giving back to the game of golf and meeting some amazing people along the way? Consider volunteering at a local tournament and showing players from around the world that Colorado is a great place for golf.
Register at https://firstteegreenvalleyranch.org/championship-volunteers/ and the contact for questions is Garrett Breeling at 720-648-9879 or the volunteer office at 303-486-8800. (This application is also good for the Men's Open and the Senior Men's Open later in the summer)
Just being around the players to watch how they approach the game has inspired me to play more. In return, they have discovered how the state of golf in Colorado is healthy and hopefully they will return in the future. This event does not charge volunteers for their uniforms and other items; it is a free event that provides meals, golf course perks and sometimes even a shirt or hat.
