6 miles RT with 2,500' elevation gain.

One of my all time favorites - there's a lot to like here. Although lower in elevation, this peak provides a great early season training hike and is not easy. It is steep and will serve up a good quad and glute workout for your higher endeavors later in the summer. There is a series of good trails that lead to the summit and there is no need to climb the any of the Flatirons to get there. We'll start at the Ranger Cottage and then go Baseline > Gregory Canyon > Ranger > West Ridge > Greenman > Saddle Rock > Amphitheater > Meadow and then back to the cottage. We'll take short breaks on the hour and a longer break on the summit.

Please bring your pack, fluids, snacks, smart layers, and good footwear, Don't forget your sun protection.

No carpool on this one but you can arrange your own carpools from your area by commenting. The pay parking is not in effect until Memorial Day weekend. There are restrooms at the cottage.

Bambei Brewing after for those that can make it.
