Early Evening Hike – Doudy Draw/Spring Brook Loop
Details
5.0 miles RT with 600’ elevation gain
My goal is to take advantage of the last few weeks of daylight by posting a weekly early evening hike through the end of October.
The Doudy Draw Trail starts in open space and leads us to the Spring Brook Loop, where we’ll hike through a Ponderosa Pine forest and a meadow with beautiful views of the Flatirons.
The pace will be faster, around 2.5–3.0 mph, with no scheduled breaks. We should finish within two hours and have plenty of daylight, but I recommend bringing a headlamp just in case.
Hope you can join for these evening hikes!
