Last Fall Early Evening Hike – Mesa Medley

4.5 miles RT with 840’ elevation gain
This is our last week of evening daylight, so let’s make the most of it with one final hike! We’ll start at NCAR and head north on the Mesa Trail to Woods Quarry, enjoy a little figure-eight medley of trails, and then return via the Mesa Trail.
I’ve shortened the route a bit to account for the earlier sunset, but we’ll keep a brisk pace, averaging 2.5+ mph, and should finish with plenty of daylight. (I recommend bringing a headlamp just in case.)
