Denver Trivia Nights

NOTE: this event will be an ugly sweater party, so please wear your ugliest or most festive sweater

This is a Geeks Who Drink event that starts at 6:30 sharp, so be sure to come a little early to get food and/or a beverage. Hope to see you there! :)

Also, please be sure to indicate if you're bringing a plus-one! The more the merrier, but each team is capped at 6 people so it'll be good to know ahead of time how many tables we need.

Join us for a Jeopardy-themed pub quiz Sunday evenings between 5-7 pm at BarFly, the bar just off the lobby at the Sloans Lake Alamo Drafthouse. The game's format strongly resembles that of America’s Favorite Quiz Show®, with a few differences that make it more suitable for a pub setting. The game allows every team to submit an answer for every question, including for Daily Doubles. The pace is also much more leisurely, with about a minute allotted to answering each question.

This pacing, which also includes a handful of five to ten-minute breaks, brings the total running time of the event to roughly two hours, significantly longer than the televised version's twenty minutes or so. This gives the team plenty of time to chat in between answering questions.
