What we’re about
Welcome fellow veg heads! It can sometimes be hard to live in a non-vegan world without a vegan community. This group goes out and does fun events together to help remedy this. This ranges from going to explicitly vegan events such as Veg Fest, vegan markets, or vegan buffet nights to non-vegan events like bar crawls, park days, hikes, or shows (but with those of similar values!).
This is more of a social group, not an activism group, though many activists participate in our events. If you want activism-focused activities, check out Pro Animal Future (https://www.meetup.com/proanimalfuture/). For even more social events, game nights, and book clubs, with a skew towards an older crowd, check out Denver Vegans (https://www.meetup.com/denver-vegans/). We've may occasionally co-host events with both those groups.
We are always looking for friendly people to serve as hosts. If you're interested, come to some events and talk to the host.

Come play Blood on the Clocktower at Barquentine inside Edgewater Public Market with some vegans! Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game very similar to Mafia or Werewolf, but with a more modern and robust game design.
We will be set up within the Barrel Room inside Barquentine Brewing.
New Players are more than welcome! Each game takes about 1.5-2 hours to complete, and we'll plan to play 2 or 3 games. Here is a link to a helpful video with an introduction and some basic rules: video link
Please be punctual as we will start the game shortly after 3 and we'll need everyone to start the game! If you can't make it to the first game leave a comment or message me so we will know not to wait, feel free to swing by later to join some of the later games!
There are several vegan options in the market, and we'll plan to eat dinner after the first game.
Note: Blood on the Clocktower involves lying and deception, which while thrilling can be stressful! We will be very welcoming but you may get accused of lying and have to defend yourself!
