Denver Vegans Holiday Party and Potluck

Join us at 1 PM on Christmas day for a vegan holiday potluck!
If you have no place to go, do not have family in town, or you just want to hang out with vegans, please join us! For those who are new to veganism, here is your chance to sample a delicious vegan holiday meal and get to know other vegans.

**If your plans change, please be considerate and update your RSVP.**

We will be having a potluck, PLUS two optional activities - SEE BELOW

WHAT TO BRING:
• A vegan holiday main dish, side dish, appetizer or dessert to serve at least 8 people. (ALL vegan please: no meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy or honey. Be sure to check labels carefully on any prepackaged items!) Please bring your dish ready to serve, e.g. if it needs to be cut into servings (like a pie), please do this beforehand.

• A List of ingredients for your dish

• A serving utensil for your dish

• Your own reusable plate, fork/spoon and beverage container.

• $3.00 cash fee (Payment by PayPal or Zelle will be available for those who do not carry cash.)

We gather at 1 p.m. and eat at 1:30 p.m.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES (after the meal):

1. Optional "White elephant" gift exchange: if you would like to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a gently-used, wrapped gift valued around $10-15 (in good condition). We will be playing a fun game with the gifts!

2. Optional Cookie Exchange: If you'd like to participate in the cookie exchange, please bring a dozen or two homemade vegan cookies (additional to your dish for the potluck). These won't be eaten at the event; we'll set them on a separate table so those who bring them can trade for an equal number and take home.

We're looking for volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up for this event. If you'd like to help, please message the organizer.

The Washington Park United Methodist Church is just a few blocks East of the park at 1955 E. Arizona Ave. (between High and Race streets). From I-25 Northbound, take the University Blvd Exit and go North. From I-25 Southbound, take the Washington/Emerson exit and go East on Louisiana Ave. If you need more detailed directions please contact the organizer.
We will be in the Fellowship Hall, which is downstairs. There is an elevator available.
