DU Animal Law "Sanctuary Stories: Film Screening"
Details
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Sanctuary Stories: Film Screening | Photos | Q + A
Tuesday, February 3
12–1PM
University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Room TBD
Join us for a collaborative event with Sanctuary Doc and the Animal Law Program for a mid-day screening of short films, photojournalism stories, and a Q&A.
We’ll screen two award-winning films and hear behind-the-scenes stories from animal photojournalists Thomas Machowicz and Diana Hulet, who look for acts of compassion for animals amid some of the world’s greatest challenges. Together, we’ll explore how storytelling can support meaningful change, sometimes in partnership with advocacy and legal efforts, and often simply by bearing witness.
Connect with others, hear inspiring stories, and share space (with vegan lunch!). Note: an RSVP on this meetup site does NOT register you for the event. Register here.
