Activists are winning campaigns on a constant basis, across the country, by simply showing up, protesting, and applying pressure. Chrys Liptrot is the co-founder and CEO of the International Council for Animal Welfare (ICAW), a non-profit organization that focuses on advancing institutional animal welfare policy in key geographies globally. We engage with decision makers at large multinational companies as well as the general public to raise awareness about key evidence-based animal welfare priorities. Penimah Tehilah is the executive director of Animal Activism Collective, Animal Activism Collective (AAC) is an organization dedicated to equipping aspiring activists with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to effectively fight for animals.
In 2025, both ICAW and AAC have achieved significant success pressuring businesses to cease selling foie gras, stop working with other companies that sell fur, and engaging in other practices that abuse animals. Join Chrys and Penimah to hear about their work and the success of pressure campaigns to achieve social change.
Lunch will be provided! Register here.
