Denver Vegans June Potluck Picnic!

Note that we are gathering at 5:30, a bit earlier than our usual potluck time.
We have reserved the picnic area in the North section of Observatory Park, in the Denver University neighborhood.
The picnic area is in the North section of the park (between Warren Ave. and Evans), near the playground. There are several picnic tables and we will also have an 8x8 festival tent that we can shelter under in case of rain.

For those who are new to veganism, welcome! Come get to know others in the group and sample some delicious vegan picnic fare!

WHAT TO BRING:

• Your favorite vegan picnic dish (All vegan please: no meat, bacon, eggs, poultry, fish, dairy or honey) that serves at least 8 people with a recipe card or list of ingredients.
Don't have time to prepare a dish?? Prepared items from the store or deli are very welcome here! Just be sure it serves at least eight people, and check the ingredients to make sure it's all vegan.
If you do not know what to bring, please contact Denver Vegans leadership.

• Your own beverage

• Reusable place setting and utensils.
Please help us keep waste to a minimum! (Since there won't be dish washing facilities at the park, you may want to bring a bag or container to take your dishes home in.)

• There is no fee, but we will have a donation jar if you would consider pitching in a couple of dollars to help defray the cost of reserving the picnic area.

We'll gather at 5:30, and eat at 6:00. Hope to see you there!
