Get ready to explore the breathtaking Crater Lake, nestled in the heart of the Arapaho National Forest. I know it's not a weekend, but trust me, this adventure is worth taking a few days off for!

What's in Store:
- An Amazing Destination: Crater Lake is a true gem, offering stunning views and a sense of peaceful solitude.
- A Rewarding Challenge: This 14-mile out-and-back hike will test your limits with a 2,145 foot of elevation gain. But don't worry, the incredible scenery will keep you motivated every step of the way!
-Picture-Perfect Views: Prepare to be amazed by the picturesque Colorado mountains. The trail is well-maintained and offers plenty of spots to rest and soak in the beauty.
- Permit and Parking: I've got you covered! I'll have the permit on hand, and there's free parking available at Monarch Lake near the trailhead (TH)
- Pet: Pets are welcome!

Trip Details:
- Meeting Point: We'll meet at the TH near Monarch Lake at 7:00 a.m.
- The Hike: We'll embark on a 7-mile trek to Crater Lake along the main trail, which will lead us to Cascade Creek Trail.
- Gear List: Don't worry about what to pack! I'll provide a comprehensive list of essential backpacking gear to ensure you're well-prepared.
