Spring Hiking: Lake Verna via East Inlet Trail

Hello Outdoorsy Lovers! Let's Hike to Lake Verna!
Hey everyone! Are you ready for an awesome outdoor adventure? We're heading to the beautiful East Inlet Trail for a hike to the stunning Lake Verna, and we'd love for you to join us.
Here's the lowdown:
- Where: East Inlet Trail near Grand Lake, CO
- Distance: 13.8 miles (out and back)
- Elevation Gain: 2,185 feet

What to Expect:
The hike is a bit of a challenge, but the views are totally worth it! We'll be surrounded by amazing scenery as we make our way to Lake Verna.
Trail Conditions:
Keep in mind that some parts of the trail might still have snow, so be prepared.
Important Info:
- Lunch: We'll be having lunch at Lake Verna, so please pack your own food and snacks to keep your energy up.
- No Furry Friends: Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed on this trail.
- Essentials: To make sure you have a safe and enjoyable hike, please bring the following:
- Sunscreen
- Electrolytes
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Hiking boots
- Hiking clothing (layers are always a good idea)
- Bear spray
- Micro-spikes (in case of icy patches)
- Trekking poles (optional, but helpful)
- Hiking pack
- Snacks
Plan Ahead:
This is going to be a long day on the trail, so please plan accordingly. Make sure you get a good night's sleep before and bring plenty of water.
