What we’re about
Welcome to your new writing group! Denver Writers Workshop supports writers of fiction, fantasy, memoir and more, and is dedicated to the art of creative writing and the growth and improvement of the literary community.
We've met bi-weekly, since 2008, sharing exercises, workshops and occasional guest speakers. Several alum are now successfully-published authors.
We host activities every Thursday, including twice-monthly workshops, writers forums and a book club. All genres of writing are welcome. Attendance is always free.
We've also got a Facebook page. Connect with us.

Welcome Writers! On July 17, we'll workshop a lengthy selection for our Mars Anthology, plus share our writing. The prompt for 7/17 is to write a 500-word Gothic Horror with the following variations: Medusa is the good guy, a Dachsund named "Weenie Todd" is the antagonist, and the setting is a white room with black curtains.
