What we’re about
Welcome to your new writing group! Denver Writers Workshop supports writers of fiction, fantasy, memoir and more, and is dedicated to the art of creative writing and the growth and improvement of the literary community.
We've met bi-weekly, since 2008, sharing exercises, workshops and occasional guest speakers. Several alum are now successfully-published authors.
We host activities every Thursday, including twice-monthly workshops, writers forums and a book club. All genres of writing are welcome. Attendance is always free.

Welcome Writers! On Sept. 11, we'll workshop 10,000 words by Alan, plus share our writing. The prompt for 9/11 is to write the first half of a story - about 500-words. At the meeting, we'll choose one and invite everyone to write their own second half - including the author. Read the workshop piece beforehand; email feedback if you'd like. Download stories HERE.
