What we’re about
Welcome to your new writing group! Denver Writers Workshop supports writers of fiction, fantasy, memoir and more, and is dedicated to the art of creative writing and the growth and improvement of the literary community.
We've met bi-weekly, since 2008, sharing exercises, workshops and occasional guest speakers. Several alum are now successfully-published authors.
We host activities every Thursday, including twice-monthly workshops, writers forums and a book club. All genres of writing are welcome. Attendance is always free.
We've also got a Facebook page. Connect with us.

WORKSHOP: The Influencer
Slater’s 50/50, 3600 Blake street,, Denver, CO, USLooking for a fun, supportive group of writers to share words and grow with? You may have found it. We read; we write; we encourage. Come check us out.
On Dec. 18, we'll workshop 10,000 words by Vaughn. Download the workshop piece beforehand and bring feedback; or email it if you'd like.
The skill-building exercise for 12/18 is to write a 500-word story about a feedback loop, in which humans influence AI, which influences humans, which influences AI. This could be positive, negative, or have some other twist. Write it ahead of time, then read it at the meeting.
