On Dec. 4, we'll workshop 10,000 words by Alan. Download the workshop piece beforehand and bring feedback; or email it if you'd like.
The skill-building exercise for 12/4 is to write a 500-word story incorporating both flashback and flash forward. Write it ahead of time, then read it at the meeting.
