About us
If you want to organize events still under here, please DM me directly. Thanks.
The goal of this grp is to connect more players with DM and generally promote new and old players to play more RPG content of all types including D&d of course. This isn't restricted to just D&D however and can extend to Cyberpunk, Space, Modern RPG as well.
SAFTEY TOOLS
I expect that this game will initially be an open table in a public venue, so it makes sense to address Safety Tools.
I am open to exploring any safety tools, so please feel free to reach out to me at any time to discuss and review. The last thing I want to do is run a game where our players feel uncomfortable.
I think Sly Flourish covers the topic well in his article on D&D Safety Tools.

LINES AND VEILS
Please reach out to me if you have ideas or suggestions to expand this list. Here are some lines that we should not cross:
At the Table
- No racism
- No sexism
- No foul language (There are kids in the shop. I know that I occasionally let a colorful word fly, but we should attempt to keep it public friendly.)
In the Game
- No sexual violence.
- No sexual harassment.
- No harm to children.
- No character-driven torture of animals.
PAUSE FOR A SECOND
This is a way for players or GMs to stop what's going on in-game and pop out of character to make sure things are going in the right direction or steer the direction.
The person calling for the pause can bring up what they need, the others agree, and the game moves forward. Here are a few examples:
- "Pause for a second. Let's skip the details on the sacrifice."
- "Pause for a second. Can the spiders be something else?"
- "Pause for a second. I don't need the details of the sex scene, can we skip forward?"
- "Pause for a second. I'd like to slow down and make sure we're all cool with the decisions we're making."

Legend Arcanum DnD using new game design
Do Gooder Games Cafe, 16639 Washington St Thornton, CO 80023 United States,, Thornton, CO, USIn an effort to network with other groups, I would like to invite others to a DnD system that I am working with a game developer on. The game designer is an already published creator for another sci-fi system and is in betta development of Legend Arcanum. He has artists already at work and a small group of people, including myself, helping him through development currently on 0.4.3 SRD. This game system uses a 2D10 base check system with proficiency or skill points replaced by a proficient dice pool resource that can be added to corresponding checks. There is a D20 Fate dice that is also rolled that functions like a Lair/Environmental action that can affect the encounter play. No crit fails or successes on 1’s or 20’s but rather “Degrees of Success/failure” based on the cumulative dice rolls. In addition to the standard races array there are playable goblinoids and a dryad race. We meet at Do Gooder Games every other Saturday noon to 4. Check out the Facebook page and YouTube, see below. Reach out to us on the Facebook Page for the fastest way to connect to the group. We are trying to reach around 14-18 interested parties to fill in as players miss a week or to run concurrent games.

ABOUT THE GAME:
Yours truly will be DMing for all sessions. I love to use grids and follow closely to all DnD rules with few exceptions, and do a little homebrew. The setting will be high fantasy, magic and adventure! It will be a tailor made campaign however that will evolve as the players run through each session. All D&D materials, races, and types, are accepted including DnD Beyond, with a standard or point buy array, dice roll.SAFTEY TOOLS
