It's time for the South Siders (Brian & Scott) to defend their title belts! I'm not going to go through the whole 'who' thing again, it seems like how newcomers to Wednesday nights always end up in the playoffs, the Tag Team Tourneys are destined to give us new champs who don't regularly attend on Wednesday. This will be a chance to upend that, Wednesday nighters, unite!

The exact setup will depend on how many teams we have sign up, but it will likely be a single-elimination tournament. Bring your partner or try to find one in the comments below and let's get ready to EUCHRE!

We're one week closer to Halloween, wooo! What does that mean for us here at GD Euchre? Nothing. But if you want to start planning a costume for our costume contest on the last Wednesday of October, that wouldn't be a bad idea...

Bring your quarters (or dollar bills, they have a change machine). I'll handle the cards, cubes, name tags and vague allusions to future events.

Have you been wanting to give Euchre a try? Got questions about the rules and what the heck is going on with this jacks? Maybe you've been playing for years and want to talk strategy? This is the event for you! We'll be teaching the game in a relaxed environment with some experienced folks to guide the newer players.

I'll bring the cards, name tags, and some rule sheets for the newbies - just bring yourself and a few quarters if some pinball strikes your fancy.
