Designed by cyclists for cyclists, the 6-week“Cyclist's Boot Camp” was created by a professional trainer to improve both total fitness and cycling ability. No matter what fitness level you’re at, “Cyclist's Boot Camp” will improve your overall fitness with an emphasis on strengthening core muscles and the muscles used in cycling.
This is a complete program with suggested cycling workouts for the days you’re not in class. “Cyclist's Boot Camp” is for ALL levels, but it is NOT a riding camp; it is a core body workout series designed to improve your overall fitness levels.
Class structure will include warm up, cardio, core and strength modules. Emphasis will be placed on improving cardio efficiency, muscular endurance, and leg and core strength. We will also talk about injury prevention, diet and stretching. Each workout is followed by a separate 45 minute high-intensity riding session, leaving from the same location, so do bring your bikes!
When is this happening? “Cyclist's Boot Camp” starts on Monday, June 10, at 6:15, and is a 45 minute total body workout. It runs from June 10th to July 17th on Monday and Wednesday's from 6:15 to 7:00pm.
Where? Location-- Crescent Park, Denver CO 80211. This is a quiet, well-hidden park just south of REI, The Aquarium, and the Children's Museum. Directions from REI to the park are in the link below. There is a parking lot directly adjacent to the park, if you zoom in on satellite view.

The class accommodates all fitness levels, but is strenuous. We are limiting the attendance to 12 members per trainer. We need at least 4 per class, so until we get to that point, we will have a waiting list for a second trainer.
If there's enough expressed interest, we'll start a second session on Tuesdays and Thursdays to accommodate those who cannot do a Monday/Wednesday class.
Cost: $10/class; classes run M/W through July 17. Payments will be made in cash or check directly to your Trainer.
Men over 45, women over 55 or people with risk factors should see a doctor before starting any exercise program.
