Dinner at Swing Thai
Details
Join us for an evening of authentic Thai cuisine and lively conversation as we visit Swing Thai on Colorado Blvd in Denver. Here’s a link to their website. Authentic Thai Cuisine - Swing Thai Colorado Blvd - Denver
The restaurant got its name from Thailand’s 98-foot “Giant Swing” originally built in 1784 as part of a traditional Hindu ceremony. The toboggan-type swing held four people who were propelled by their teammates into the air to grab the celebrated golden ring. The swing represents the importance of collaboration powered by people.
Owners, Jay Dedrick and Siriporn “Duke” Tayaputch, are passionate about bringing exotic, traditional flavors from Duke’s homeland of Bangkok, Thailand to Denver, Colorado where Jay was born and raised.
Swing Thai is a locally-owned, family business where owners and staff work side-by-side to create healthy, locally-sourced dishes influenced by family recipes from many regions throughout Thailand.
Whether you’ve enjoyed Thai cuisine for years or are just looking forward to trying it for the first time, this event is for you! There are parking lots available on both sides of the restaurant and public transportation has a stop at 8th Ave and Colorado Blvd so there’s no reason not to go! Come, enjoy a meal and meet some new friends!
