DMSC (Denver Metro Social Club)

We’ll travel out to one of the area’s newest shopping districts to see one of the areas top bands, “Wash Park”. They play everything from Motown to today’s top 40 dance songs. The district has restaurants and all types of food and beverages you can purchase and carry around. You may not bring in any alcohol from the outside. You certainly can bring water, food and you will need a lawn chair unless you plan on dancing to every song. This is our solo trip to Aurora, so let’s make it fun.

We'll head up north for our only visit to the Orchard Town Center Saturday Night Concerts. This time up, the Petty/Nicks Experience will be ours. Enjoy some of the best songs from Stevie Nicks collections as well as the Tom Petty Band's music. Two great concerts in one! No outside food or beverages allowed, but there are plenty of choices for both when you get there. Speaking of getting there, be there early to help save seats and order any drinks or food. RAVP if you'd like us to try to save you a place. no guarantees if you show up after 5:45 pm. You will need a lawn chair as all areas are concrete.

Let’s head up for a favorite trail of ours in Pine Valley. We’ll carpool from the Home Depot in Morrison to our destination. Bring a few bucks cash to contribute towards gas for your volunteer driver. We will survey the river and pond as well as the back areas. The loop itself is barely over 2 miles, moderate hiking. We’ll hike the shady side up and maybe climb a few rocks on the way back down. Afterwards, we can head over to the infamous Zola’s for a brew or bite at noon.
