Dockerize All The Things - Drew Dahlman

Make your life easier by using containers for everything. We will walk through adding docker to your workflow and reducing the need to ever install dependencies ( Gems, Node Modules, etc ) on your system but instead rely on Docker for all of that. No more worrying about an update to osX to break all of your applications, because it's in a container you are free to just work.

Drew Dahlman is a Technical Director and Senior Developer at Legwork Studio in Denver Colorado, is the founder of Develop Denver. He works with clients and agencies such as Nike, Google, Coca-Cola, Hakkasan Group and others to create rich interactive experiences though websites and experiential installations.

Choose Your Own Adventure! -- Morgan Whaley

Waterfall. Agile. Scrum. Lean. Kanban. Nothing at all. With all the different workflows out there, how can programmers continue to bring their A-game, grow, write great code, and above all direct their own career path? If everything is structured, intuition can suffer, but if nothing is structured, all those cat videos aren’t going to watch themselves. I will talk about my own career path and how I have zeroed in on and thrived despite uncertainty, change, and WIP limits.
