Staunton Adopt A Crag, Trail Work and Climb

Pay it forward. Join us doing volunteer trail work in the Tan Corridor. We will be building belay pads and adding steps till 1 pm. We are bringing in additional event hosts to help with afternoon climbing. We will have a few raffle prizes.

Everyone that helps with climbing trail work at Staunton this year, will be invited to a climbing meetup and BBQ event this fall; a thank you from Staunton State Park!

What to bring: work gloves, water, food, sunscreen, rain gear, climbing gear, no open toe shoes, We’ll have a few pairs of extra work gloves.

Please only RSVP, If you’re serious about showing up. Meetup groups have a big issue with last-minute cancellations or no-shows that makes planning, preparation, and coordination difficult.

Directions: US 285 to Elk Creek Road, to Park entrance, tell entrance attendant you’re there for Adopt A Crag, follow main road about 1.5 miles to Lazy V Parking Lot. There will be reserved parking for the event.
