My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War - Miner's Alley, Golden
Details
Let’s go see My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War in Golden, and grab dinner beforehand if you’d like.
Play description:
Miners Alley is staging the regional premiere of this new family comedy by Paul Stroili, the playwright behind A Jukebox for the Algonquin. A downsizing Michigan matriarch and her grown children clash over everything from tofu to Toledo to goal posts to Gordon Lightfoot, in a funny, heartfelt look at the family battles we never quite outgrow.
The show is Saturday, March 28th at 7:30 pm at Miners Alley Performing Arts Center in downtown Golden:

Seats are assigned (not general admission), with different price ranges depending on where you sit, so please purchase your own ticket in whatever section works best for you. I’ll plan to be in the lobby/entrance around 7:00 pm so we can say hi before the show.
For dinner, let’s meet at 5:30 pm at The Golden Mill, a historic mill turned modern food hall with a variety of food and drink options and plenty of seating. I’m also open to other dinner ideas in Golden—feel free to suggest alternatives in the comments.
