Let's go see Drag Queen Magic by Local Theater Company at The Mizel Arts and Culture Center. For those interested, we can grab dinner beforehand at Sam's #3 Glendale.

Description of the show:

Drag Queen Letta Celebrate just wants to live her life lip-syncing Lady Gaga at birthdays, weddings, and the occasional bar mitzvah, but when a strange woman asks for help after losing everything, Letta finds herself desperate to save her or be doomed to repeat the same day over and over.

If you'd like to suggest another place for dinner, say something in the comments. Sam's #3 is an old school diner with a big menu, I like it. Meet at the restaurant at 5pm for dinner, and I'll be near the entrance to the theater at 6:30 to greet attendees. My profile photo is current, look for me.

Let's catch Goodnight, Oscar at Miner's Alley Playhouse in Golden. If there is interest in dinner beforehand, let's meet at Miner's Saloon right next to the theater.

Play description:

Broadway composer, Hollywood actor, concert pianist, and witty wild card on-screen and off…he did it all, but it was never enough. Miners Alley’s regional premiere stars Denver’s own award-winning David Nehls as the legendary Oscar Levant. Set over one unforgettable night in 1958, this razor-sharp, deeply moving drama explores the cost of genius, the power of performance, and the fine line between brilliance and madness.
