Hands on with Gutenberg

Join us for a hands on workshop working with the new WordPress Editor that will be coming with the upcoming WordPress 5.0 release in just a few short weeks.

NOTE This meetup will be held at the Galvanize GOLDEN TRIANGLE campus instead of their location on platte due to scheduling conflicts.

This meetup will have some hands on time with the new editor, so bring a laptop!

Meetup Agenda

• 6:00 - 6:15 Arrive
• 6:15 - 6:45 Live demo of Gutenberg and all of it's new features
• 6:45 - 7:30 Hands on time with the new editor and a short exercise
• 7:30 - 8:30 We will split into 2 groups, one for developers, and one for users.
• Developers will work on creating a block for Gutenberg
• Users will get more hands on time with the editor, and a chance to ask more in depth questions
