Gabrielino Trail to Gould Mesa

Our next hike will be this Sunday at the Gabrielino Trail to Gould Mesa! This is a fairly easy, shaded hike along the Arroyo Seco river. We'll start this 4.2-mile out-and-back trail from the Gabrielino Lower Parking Lot in Altadena and follow it through the canyon to the Gould Mesa Campground. There may be a few minor river crossings so come prepared and as always bring plenty of water!

From Hahamongna Watershed Natural Park the trail heads up into the canyon following the course of Arroyo Seco. During the spring months, there is often more water and you will likely get your feet wet crossing the stream. The the junction with Gould Mesa Road you will find Gould Mesa Camp. The campground has five designated sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a pit toilet.
