Fryman Canyon Trail

The next hike will be this Sunday at 11 am at Fryman Canyon near Studio City! This 2.6-mile trail is a local favorite, with just enough uphill to feel like you did something without totally wiping you out. Expect shaded spots, open views, and the occasional friendly dog. It’s a great trail for clearing your head and getting your legs moving. Don't forget to pack water and a hat!

Parking can be a little tricky, so try to arrive early to find a spot. If the parking lot is full, you can park in the nearby neighborhood.

Head out on this 2.6-mile loop trail near Studio City, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 13 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, mountain biking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Most of the hike has a nice wide trail that is well maintained (and part of it paved). The end of the hike is through a residential neighborhood. There are nice views of the surrounding foothills area as you make your way around the loop. There is plenty of street parking near the trailhead and there is a bathroom.
