ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Led and designed by Heetal Bhatia, an organisational psychologist and an evidence based EI practitioner, her goal is to empower people beyond the basic principles of surviving and untap the potential personality beneath the surface.
IMP: This group runs on well founded scientific principles and frameworks from behavioural sciences and human psychology. No fluff here.

PS: Even though this community works on scientific principles, the conversations and gatherings will be done in simple English, easy to understand and digestable information.
Please don't RSVP your attendance and not show up- it takes a lot of time and effort to run these events and a little respect for both, the organiser and the other attending members, goes a long way.

EQ and Coffee
Volkshotel, Wibautstraat 150, 1091 GR, Amsterdam, NLTHEME: AUTHENTICITY: UNMASKING WHO YOU ARE BENEATH YOUR ROLE
Description:
Ever wondered how the social role you've taken on in everyday life - the capable one, the strong one, the compromising one, the funny one, or anything else, affects your true self? Who are we beneath these roles we play? Let's talk about authenticity and identity theory. We’ll share stories, engage with activities, and hopefully leave with a little more understanding of self and others.Expect fun activities, thought-provoking discussions, and a chance to connect with like-minded people. Just bring your curiosity and open mindedness for other perspectives.
General meetup description:
This is a casual coffee meetup for people who enjoy meaningful conversations and reflections. The idea is to reflect upon your emotional intelligence, see where is takes you, and listen to others and provide a different perspective, if they seek them.No unnecessary advice, no pressure to perform, just a safe space to talk, listen, reflect and connect, at your own free will.
IMP: If you RSVP and cancel, pls do so 24 hours in advance. Cancelling the night before on on the morning of the meetup makes it challenging for the facilitator to prepare well and in all honesty, is extremely disrespectful of others' time.
Some ground rules:
- Please be on time- it is not fair on other punctual participants and late comers can affect the team dynamics. Coming on time helps with proper introductions, understanding rules, and won't make things awkward ;)
- Please be respectful- This is non negotiable. Difference of opinion is welcome, disrespect is not. Homophobia, sexism, racism, name calling, bullying, shouting, etc. will not be tolerated. The discretion lies solely with the host.
- Please show up- If you RSVP, please show up. If you decide to not show up, please withdraw your RSVP 24 hours in advance. There are people in the waiting list that don't get a chance otherwise and that is not fair to the ones genuinely wanting to attend.
- Please order something at the cafe and show them support - they allow us to conduct these meetups peacefully <3
