Aviation Nation 2025 Air Show

Let’s take our action photography to new heights at this exciting event! After being cancelled in 2024, the show has set their dates for 2025! This two-day air show is hosted by Nellis Air Force Base and features the Thunderbirds among many aerial performers. In addition to the show in the air, you’ll be able to see and photograph a variety of airplanes up close.

This event takes place on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6, 2025. The schedule is the same for both days.

MEETUP INFO:
This is a NO HOST meetup; information is being posted solely to make DPE members aware of this exciting photo opportunity. If anyone plans to attend and wants to meet other group members, drop a note in the discussion section or the event chat.

As this event is held on an active military base, there are no private vehicles allowed on site. All attendees MUST park at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and visitors must use the free round-trip shuttle bus transportation to and from Nellis Air Force Base.

Plan accordingly for heavy traffic into the parking lot. Visitors must also pass through security lines before boarding the shuttle to the event site. There are several restrictions regarding size of camera bags and items that are allowed (or not allowed) into the grounds.

MEETUP FEES:
General admission is free for this event. Upgraded seating and VIP tickets are available for an additional cost.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Vendors will be available for food and drink.
