A Glowing Dragon Comes Alive at the Kite Festival!

Need a break from Thanksgiving family time or Black Friday chaos? Come join us at the Las Vegas World Kite Festival for an afternoon of sky-filling color and several different styles of photography!

We will meet in the afternoon so we can take advantage of the warm golden light as it lights up the massive kites across the sky. After that plan to hang out for the evening glow up when a 100-meter-long illuminated dragon kite lights up the night sky. There will be chances for action shots, casual street style moments, creative abstracts, and anything else you feel inspired to capture.

MEETUP INFO:
We will have a meet and greet at 2:00pm just inside the main entry gates. Expect it to be crowded, so look for the people with the cameras! After we get a chance to say hello and meet our fellow photographers, plan to explore the festival and shoot on your own.

MEETUP FEES:
There is no fee for the Meetup, though you must purchase a ticket to enter the festival.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
Expect to do plenty of walking on different surface types ranging from paved to dirt and gravel.

PARKING:
Parking is available at the Desert Breeze Event Center, but make sure to leave plenty of time to find a spot and walk to the meeting point.
