Desert Reset: Lake Pleasant Hike & Scorpion Bay Brunch
Details
Start the morning with movement, lake views, and good company.
Join Desert Reset for a scenic hike along Pipeline Canyon Trail at Lake Pleasant Regional Park, followed by brunch together at Scorpion Bay Grill overlooking the water.
We’ll meet at the Cottonwood Day Use Area parking lot and head south along Pipeline Canyon Trail. This 4-mile out-and-back route winds through rocky desert terrain with beautiful views of Lake Pleasant, surrounding canyon walls, and fields of cacti. Depending on the season, wildflowers may appear along the open sections of the trail.
There is a small river crossing and some rocky areas along the way, so sturdy hiking shoes with good traction are recommended.
After the hike, we’ll head to Scorpion Bay Grill to relax, refuel, and enjoy brunch together with lake views and good conversation.
As always, Desert Reset hikes are about movement, connection, and supportive community — not pace or competition. We’ll hike at a comfortable conversational pace and regroup along the way as needed.
